The foundations of Sandıklı Thermal Park Hotel were laid on a 40,000 m² plot at the Hüdai Thermal Springs. Construction began as a visionary investment in Afyon's thermal tourism.
Sandıklı Thermal Park Hotel opened its doors to guests on 10 April 2010. The service journey that began with the Yunus and Emre Blocks marked the start of a new era in Afyon's thermal tourism sector.
In line with growing guest demand, the Bilgi Block was added to the facility. Room capacity reached 236 rooms and bed capacity reached 476. Meeting and congress halls also went into service during this period.
The thermal and SPA section was expanded to 4,188 m². With new massage rooms, mud bath areas and family baths added, the facility became one of Turkey's most comprehensive thermal SPA centers.
The entire facility underwent a comprehensive renovation in May 2018. Rooms, restaurants, common areas and the SPA section were brought up to modern standards. With this renovation, the hotel reinforced its luxury thermal resort identity.
The hotel received the UNESCO City of Gastronomy certificate, the Sustainable Tourism certificate and the Bike Friendly facility certificate. It also became a member of EHTTA (European Historic Thermal Towns Association).
The hotel maintained its service during the pandemic with strict hygiene standards and guest safety protocols. The measures taken and guest satisfaction during this period strengthened the hotel's trusted brand image.
